Here is the economic part – where you can save a lot of money if you do the spa treatment at home, and then we have the self esteem part – when you face the fact that you’re capable of doing something by yourself for yourself. Besides these benefits from doing a homemade spa treatment, there is another one, which is related to doubt of whether all those expensive treatments are as natural and as healthy as the ones you can prepare at home. Although it may take you a little bit more time to get all ingredients and prepare the spa treatment at home, you’ll always be aware of what’s in it and how those ingredients can affect your skin and body. Try the following spa treatments to give your hair, face skin and feet the care they deserve.

1. Repair a chlorine – damaged hair

This DIY hair spa is perfect for those who enjoy going to swimming pools during winter time. The chlorine can really damage your hair, so here is what you need to bring your hair back to life:

  • 1 egg
  • 2 table spoons of olive oil
  • a cup of peeled cucumber

Squish all ingredients in a bowl until you get a nice paste, apply the mixture all over your hair and leave it that way for 15 min, then wash it. Blow-dry your hair and see how glossy and soft it will be.

2. Refreshing facial

As a powerful antioxidant, the green tea will give your skin an amazing refreshing touch. All you have to do is soak make up remover cotton pads in a glass of cooled green tea and put them on your face. Keep them for a while rinse your face with mild water.

3. Blueberry facial

As tasty as they can be in your smoothie, blueberries can be as effective for your skin. All you need to do is to put:

  • blueberries
  • honey &
  • olive oil

into a blender until the mixture gets creamy and apply it on your face. Leave it for a while (no longer than 30 min) and rinse it.
